I completed my Ph.D. in Health Psychology and Clinical Science at The Graduate Center within CUNY, my predoctoral internship at Mount Sinai Morningside, and my postdoctoral fellowship within NYU Langone’s Child Study Center. Most recently, I served as Clinical Faculty at NYU Langone's Child Study Center, where I provided therapy, taught undergraduate courses at NYU, and supervised psychology trainees at various levels of training. I am also an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist (see FAQs for more about this).

Alongside clinical work, I spent over a decade working in research centered on stigma and sexual health of underserved populations, work that continues to shape how I show up with every client I work with. This work was supported by two competitive research grants from the National Institutes of Health (NIH). I've also published in peer-reviewed and academic journals and contributed to book chapters in my areas of expertise. Finally, I stay closely connected to the research that supports good care: I'm a member of several APA Divisions, and I am an inaugural co-host of Health Psych Currents, the official podcast of APA's Health Psychology Division, where we discuss the latest research from leaders across a range of fields.
